Xavi Razo Gears Up for Victory Amidst Monterrey’s Heat: NASCAR Mexico Series 2023

As the engines roar and the anticipation builds, the NASCAR Mexico Series 2023 is heating up, both figuratively and literally. Xavi Razo, the dynamic driver from the capital, is gearing up to face the challenges of the seventh date at the Autódromo Monterrey this coming Saturday. With the scorching July heat poised to play a pivotal role, Razo is not only preparing his car but also himself to ensure a top-tier performance.

Behind the wheel of the car number 7, adorned with names like BATALION-Orpack-Libertad and more, Razo is determined to outdo his previous performance and clinch his second checkered flag of the year. “Motor racing is about contrasts,” Razo emphasized, highlighting the importance of adaptability and a positive mindset in the face of racing’s unpredictable nature.

Currently holding the sixth position in the drivers’ championship with 173 points, Razo is well-aware of the challenges that lie ahead. The ‘Frijol’ track, known for its demanding nature, is set to test the physical and mental endurance of every racer. “We are going to prepare well physically to withstand the entire race,” Razo stated, acknowledging the track’s reputation as the most demanding of the year.

But it’s not just the physical demands that racers need to be wary of. The unique design of the Monterrey track, which is neither a complete oval nor a circuit, has been the site of numerous accidents in the past. Coupled with the intense heat and slippery pavement, drivers will need to be at the top of their game. “You have to drive very carefully,” Razo advised, drawing from his experience and victory at the opening date in Chiapas.

Despite the challenges, Razo remains confident. “We have a great car, I’m driving well, everything can be given to us to be successful,” he expressed, showcasing his unwavering determination and skill.

Race enthusiasts, mark your calendars. The seventh date of the 2023 NASCAR Mexico Series is set to commence at 5:30 p.m. next Saturday, promising an adrenaline-packed 120 laps or 100 minutes of pure racing thrill at the Autódromo Monterrey.
