Rick Hendrick’s Honorary Recognition at The Amelia 2024

Sit tight and grab those steering wheels because he has just been announced as the Honoree at The Amelia 2024! Steering clear of normalcy, this event adds another feather to his already brimming racing cap.
The fine folks (sorry, we must avoid collective nouns) at The Amelia honor the racing roots each year by honoring the cream of the crop from the racing world. Handing over this respect and recognition to Rick only spills volumes about the man’s charisma and grand journey.
Matt Orendac, the Vice Chairman of Hagerty Concours Group, showered some high praises on our speedster. “Rick Hendrick embodies the racer’s dream,” he said. “His journey from being a car salesman to becoming a NASCAR Cup Series champion is breathtaking.” We’ll have to agree with him – it’s like watching a high-octane biopic but in real life!
Since its inception in 1984, Hendrick’s Motorsports has looped in records like candy on Halloween! Yes, we are talking about the mammoth 14 championships and the spectacular 301 points-scoring race victories at the NASCAR Cup Series level.
