Mr. Popular: The Snowball Derby’s Seats Are Sold Out Again

Shocker! The Snowball Derby Sells Out… Again!”

A sold-out sign hangs over the Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, as reserved seating for the much-anticipated 56th annual Snowball Derby is booked to capacity over a week before race day. Despite this, general admission tickets, standing-room-only tickets, and infield passes remain accessible for the Sunday event. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday’s general admission tickets are also readily available.

Gauging the audience response, Tim Bryant, the track’s general manager, states, “Fans have been incessantly reaching out since the commencement of ticket sales, expressing interest in the 56th annual Snowball Derby. We are constantly surprised by the audience’s reaction as they keep setting the bar high. We qualify the event as sold out, but with an abundance of room in the infield and our general admission areas, we can ensure a comfortable experience.”

Concurrent with this announcement, track officials also provided essential parking information for the race day. A limited amount of free parking is available at the track, and spectators are advised to utilize the shuttle service from the Pensacola Fairgrounds on the race day. Furthermore, the track encourages carpooling to manage parking more efficiently.

“We benefit from a number of partners and local businesses’ support, which help streamline the Snowball Derby’s logistics on race day,” says Bryant. He also mentioned the shuttle service’s frequency – every half-hour from the Fairgrounds to the track for fan convenience.

While reserved seating for the Snowball Derby is packed, general admission for the Allen Turner Snowflake 100 on Saturday is available. The day’s action also includes the Snowball Derby last chance race, Snowflake 100 last chances races, and the Outlaw 50-lap race. The Snowball Derby’s pole night on Friday allows the top 30 drivers to secure a spot in the Sunday race. Thursday holds practice sessions for Super Late Model, Pro Late Model teams, and other races.
