Laps of Love: NASCAR Fans Race to Make a Difference

In the NASCAR realm, the speed is just as noteworthy off-track. The NASCAR Foundation spotlighted four restoration-driven fans as the 13th Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award finalists on FOX Sports NASCAR Race Hub. These avid followers shift their energy towards children’s causes in their communities, making the most significant difference.

According to The NASCAR Foundation Chairman Mike Helton, these volunteers encompass NASCAR’s commitment to positively influencing children’s lives and are indeed an inspiration to the racing family. He encourages fans to familiarize themselves with each finalist’s charted journey and to partake in electing the award recipient.

The award, a tribute to its late founder and chairman, Betty Jane France, acknowledges NASCAR fans volunteering for children’s causes at a grassroots level. Each finalist is awarded a minimum of $25,000 for their organization, while the winner is bestowed with a $100,000 donation from The NASCAR Foundation to accelerate their commitment. Let’s celebrate these beloved fans speeding into the hearts of their communities.
