Final Lap Approaches for NASCAR’s Most Non-Speedy Contest

Top four NASCAR fan volunteers race towards recognition, nominated for the 13th annual Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award.

In a commendable initiative, The NASCAR Foundation has announced the finalists of the 13th annual Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award. The award resonates with the spirit of NASCAR’s late founder and chairperson, Betty Jane France, honoring her memory by recognizing NASCAR fans who actively volunteer for children’s causes. This announcement, made on FOX Sports NASCAR Race Hub, brings into light four dedicated NASCAR fan volunteers whose unwavering passion has significantly improved children’s lives nationwide.

The glowing nominees, Darla Crown, Jennifer Gage, Molly Moran, and Sandy Stanley, extend their profound service from their localities to nationwide children’s organizations. They are all set to receive a donation of at least $25,000 for their excellent work within the community, and the champion volunteer will be awarded a whopping $100,000 from The NASCAR Foundation! The victorious volunteer will be unveiled at the NASCAR Awards on Thursday, Nov. 30 in Nashville.
