DriveSmart Backs Weatherman: Neither Rain, Sleet, Nor Snow Will Keep the No. 91 from Its Appointed Rounds

Thrill is in the Air: Weatherman to Drive a ‘Smart’ Car

In the upcoming 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro of DGM Racing will have Kyle Weatherman at the wheel. DriveSmart Warranty has thrown its weight behind Weatherman, shifting from being a primary sponsor at Texas Motor Speedway to an anchor partner for the imminent season.

Weatherman expressed his gratitude, while not mincing words about the hard work of his team, stating, “The men and women at DGM put their all into racing, and I am happy to call this team home for the next 33 races.” Weatherman has shown promise with a remarkable eighth-place finish at the Atlanta Motor Speedway and six Top 20 finishes in just thirteen starts.

DGM Racing owner, Mario Gosselin, lauded Weatherman for his knowledge and speed, and enthusiastically welcomed the support of DriveSmart, acknowledging their shared family values. Meanwhile, DriveSmart CEO Dan Rodd expressed admiration for Weatherman’s commitment and the family-oriented solid ethos of DGM Racing that mirrors DriveSmart’s own culture.

Strap in for the first race of the new season at Daytona International Speedway, where DriveSmart will be showcased as the primary sponsor. The race will be live on FS1 on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. ET.

DriveSmart, meet the checkered flag; it’s your turn to shine!
