Say it Isn’t So! The Daytona 500 gets Sold Out… Again!
The moment of truth has arrived faster than anyone expected. Today, the Daytona International Speedway announced a sellout for the 2024 DAYTONA 500 grandstands and camping, a whopping three months before the NASCAR Cup season opener. Shocked? We’re not. This marks a new record in the modern era and the ninth consecutive sellout of The Great American Race.
Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher (@DISupdates) affirmed, “The rate at which the 2024 DAYTONA 500 has sold out is a true testament to what this race represents. We can‘t wait to have a full house of race fans for the NASCAR season opener.”
Since its inception in 1959, The Great American Race has provided a thrill like no other event on the NASCAR schedule. Each year, from Lee Petty’s narrow victory to Denny Hamlin’s 2016 photo finish, has offered unexpected twists and legendary tales.
The 2024 DAYTONA 500 is set to continue this tradition with NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney (@Blaney) vying for his chance at the DAYTONA 500 Champion title against contenders old and new.
