Speedway Children’s Charities Illuminates the Holidays with Massive Donations

Speedway Children’s Charities: Spreading Joy – No Racing Involved

Marking the return of a favorite annual event at Texas Motor Speedway, Speedway Children’s Charities ignited not only the lights of a 42-foot white fir tree but also brought a sparkle to the eyes of 26,000+ children in need. With $210,180 distributed in grants amongst 22 organizations, the charity brought holiday cheer to the children of Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties.

In addition to the monetary grants, this uplifting event staged in The Speedway Club building saw 50 bicycles and helmets distributed to children present and local North Texas charities facilitating the delivery for the holiday season.

“It is an honor to provide grants to these amazing organizations and help them continue their work serving the critical needs of North Texas children,” said Marissa Chaney, Speedway Children‘s Charities Texas Executive Director.

Since its inception in 1997, Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway has distributed over $12 million in funding to children-centric non-profit organizations, ensuring their ability to support needy children.
