AJ Allmendinger Returns to Full-time NXS Competition with Kaulig Racing in 2024

Allmendinger Outperforms Hiatus, Sets 2024 NXS Return Plan

Continuing his victorious journey, seasoned racer AJ Allmendinger has been ushered back into the robust fold of Kaulig Racing’s NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) as a full-time competitor. Allmendinger – who, since his induction into Kaulig Racing in 2019, has shown exceptional prowess with 15 wins, two NXS Regular Season Championships and 10 pole awards to his name – is set to man the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro for the 2024 season.

Roads traversed by Allmendinger with Kaulig Racing bear the testimony of his passion and command over the previously helmed five NXS races. The series unfolded as a triumphant tableau showcasing Allmendinger’s aggressive yet strategic racing style, scoring him two notable wins, four top fives, five top-10 finishes, and three pole awards.

Relishing the return, Kaulig Team President Chris Rice has flaunted faith in the racer, crediting Allmendinger’s staunch dedication as a driving force behind the team’s growth. Illustrating his excitement for the upcoming calendar, Rice asserted, “He’s passionate, he’s aggressive and he pushes us to keep getting better. We’re excited to see what we can accomplish in the 2024 season on both the Xfinity and Cup side.”

Kaulig Racing’s owner, Matt Kaulig, echoed Rice’s sentiment, hailing AJ’s contribution beyond his triumphant performances, as integral in fostering the organization’s culture.

Allmendinger, unfazed by pressure and poised for growth, has expressed readiness to rise to the challenge, saying, “We‘ve got work to do on both our Xfinity and Cup side as we continue to grow but I think we are putting ourselves in the best position to keep improving.”

A decisive gust in Kaulig Racing’s wind, Allmendinger continues to charge valiantly into the future, holding potential to transform the team’s Xfinity and Cup sides’ destiny. Hit the pedal and join the ride! For the full news story, Click Here
