Pit Stop for Surgery: Elliott’s Off-season Shoulder Update

Chase Elliot Resting Up

Elliott Takes a Break from Wheel to Heal

Boosting the pulse of the NASCAR community, Chase Elliott brought some personal news to the pit lane. The Hendrick Motorsports driver imparted that he’s undergone a shoulder procedure recently, all part of pacing his path to top form for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

The wielder behind the No. 9 Chevrolet took to the X platform (formerly known as Twitter), gracing his followers with a brief video. Adorned with a sling supporting his right arm, he stated, “an old injury that I needed to get tended to”, pointing towards the opportune off-season timing to tackle such matters.

Elliott didn’t let the sling dampen his spirits, as he asserted that he was “all good, ready to go” for the forthcoming campaign. This is a relief for many, considering his stint on the sidelines due to a leg injury during the early span of last season.
