Whoops! Some Slip-ups Lead to NASCAR Penalties Post-Homestead

Post-Race Penalties Issued After Homestead Races

NASCAR recently declared penalties across all three racing series after last weekend’s events at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. In the Cup Series, #51-Ryan Newman faced fines of $10,000 for violation of driver responsibilities and protective gear rules.

The Xfinity Series saw the suspension of crew members Taylor Collier and Dale Hollifield for two upcoming events due to improperly installed lug nuts in Dawson Cram’s vehicle. Austin Hill’s crew chief, Charles Street, was also fined $10,000 and suspended from the next event for the same issue. Joe Graf Jr’s crew got off lighter with a $5,000 fine.

Meanwhile, the Craftsman Truck Series dealt with point losses and fine too. All of this just elaborates the action-packed nature of NASCAR. For a detailed report, [“Click Here”]
