Stanton Barrett: Lacing Up His Racing Boots Again for Emerling-Gase at Road America

So, folks, here’s a juicy piece of news from the fast and furious world of motorsports. You remember Stanton Barrett. The guy who we haven’t seen behind the wheel since 2019?

Well, he’s decided to dust off his driving gloves, strap on his helmet, and put the pedal to the metal once again. This time, it’s at Road America, driving the No. 35 Chevrolet for the Emerling-Gase gang.

Now, it’s not Barrett’s first rodeo at Road America. The guy’s been around that block five times already, with his shining moment in 2010 when he finished 17th. Not exactly a gold medal finish, but that’s nothing to sneeze at.

The big cheeses at Emerling-Gase are all excited about Barrett’s return, just like kids at a candy store. EGM co-owner Joey Gase said: “We are excited to have Stanton and his partners on board this weekend. His wealth of experience is a huge asset for the team, and we can’t wait to see what Stanton can do behind the wheel of the #35.” Well, Joey, we can’t wait either.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Just because he has experience and a past track record doesn’t mean he will waltz in and steal the show. This is racing, folks, not a pre-planned party. Anything can happen when the rubber meets the road.

This weekend at Road America is going to be a real knee-slapper.

Will Barrett charm the pants off that old track?

Or will the other drivers leave him eating dust?

Whatever happens, I can guarantee you one thing: it’s gonna be one helluva show!

So, buckle up, race fans. Stanton Barrett is back in the game, and the fun’s about to start. Let’s sit back, pop some corn, and enjoy the ride. Best of luck to Barrett and the Emerling-Gase team – they will need it!
