In an unprecedented turn of events, the ASA/CRA Super Series’ Circle City Twin 50s, scheduled for this Saturday at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, has been cancelled. The cancellation also affects the USAC Eastern Focus Midgets, NEMA Lites, and the National Pavement Midget Championship.

The decision comes in light of an unfavorable weather forecast for the weekend, with potential inclement weather threatening to disrupt not only Saturday’s events but also the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series scheduled for Friday.

A statement from Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park reads, ‘Due to potential weather that may impact the completion of Friday’s events, we have made the hard decision to postpone Saturday’s National Pavement Midget Twin 25’s to our Saturday, October 14th Championship Saturday event and cancel the Midget All-Star Challenge, along with the ASA/CRA Super Series Twin 50’s.’

The decision was made to avoid potential unwarranted travel by teams and fans. All tickets and credentials will automatically be refunded by the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park ticketing department.
