Kudos Bubba! Your X-Wing Wrapper car Surely Breaks All Jealousy Speed Limits! Ask Ryan Blaney!

NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace Dazzles with Star Wars Car and Encounter with Mark Hamill

Looking for some Star Wars-level awesomeness on the race track? Perhaps an X-Wing wrapper car that’ll make you scream, “Chewie, we’re home!” NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace is making that dream come true.

Bubba Wallace, backed by Columbia, will pilot a beastly car that looks straight out of the X-Wing design book. Even better, his teammate Tyler Reddick will zoom along in a TIE Fighter-themed car. Can you say “epic intergalactic race”? No? Well, looks like you just did!

“Ryan is super jealous,” joked Wallace of his racing buddy, Ryan Blaney, a Star Wars nut who sports a Darth Vader tattoo. How did he get Blaney back onto the galaxy’s light side? “I promised him I’d hook him up with some of the Star Wars pieces in the Columbia collection, so I think we’re good,” Wallace quipped.

Gracing the occasion, Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, had some profound advice for Wallace: “I got to meet Mark Hamill and talk about the race and the car. It gave me chills to hear him talk about the force, so that was pretty cool,” shared Wallace.

Catch the unique face-off between these Star Wars-themed vehicles at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship on NBC. You don’t want to miss these cars dashing around the track faster than Han Solo’s famed run. Sorry, Blaney, but the Force will be with Wallace this round!
