Hoosier Launches New ST Line for Oval Asphalt Competitors

Hoosier Tires: Never Had a Blowout Quite Like This

Hoosier Racing Tire has just set the world track on fire with unparalleled innovation in a power move, with competitors and teams impressed with its prowess. The revered manufacturer and global behemoth in racing tires unveiled the ST tire line with a bang at the Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.

The new game-altering line is intended to help oval asphalt pros by providing them with tires that wield unprecedented versatility. With this launch, Hoosier has strategically circumvented the need for teams to lug around surplus inventory. The need for relentless tweaking of tires for different tracks, a bane of race crews, is now mitigated impressively.

Hoosier’s VP of Sales, Paul Menting, captured these developments perfectly when he proclaimed how the face of late-model racing has undergone a significant transformation in recent years. This change has piled on the pressure on tire performance and durability. However, Hoosier is confident that the new line will deliver efficiently and exceed customer expectations. He went ahead and dubbed these changes as an industry game-leveler, underscoring the manufacturer’s faith in this innovation.

The specifics for this are 27/10 ST1 and 27/10 ST2, with 2 sizes on the left and right, respectively. CARS Tour incorporates these on all four corners. The 27/10 ST3, designed for high wear and heat tracks, comes in one size and is intended for the right side.

The launch of the new ST line has prompted an applause fest, and not without reason. Dale Earnhardt Jr., co-owner of CARS Tour, expressed excitement over the ST2 integration into the 2024 season lineup. He voiced complete faith in the reliable performance of the ST2, noting how it is similar to the tires used in the past, which should facilitate more accessible adaptation on the drivers’ part.

Simultaneously, Tim Bryant, owner of Five Flags Speedway, praised Hoosier’s profound efforts to actualize the common request from race teams. ASA’s President, Bob Sargent, couldn’t have been prouder to be a part of this transformation.
